The Buffalo Community Centre provides a multipurpose resource community facility to help improve the lives of the local people of the Croft Ward, Cowpen Quay and local area which is classed as very deprived.

It is our aim to improve the conditions and wellbeing of our community, stimulate economic activity by providing lifelong learning, recreational activities and establish strong community structures and working in partnership with other local providers both from the voluntary and statutory sector.

We work with all members of the community from babies and young people to the elderly, disabled, unemployed, those on benefits, single parents, and those who are on community service orders. We work with those in the community that are the hardest to reach by offering social inclusion for all. We have over 10,000 head count visitors per year many are repeat weekly users.
